Branding: SoundWave Music Festival

Last year I pitched a new poster (see it here) to the organizers of SoundWave, a small show featuring Southern California musicians, and they loved it so much that they asked for a larger branding package to help promote the show.

It has been an interesting challenge because of the illustrative elements forcing consideration of layout, type, and composition, but there is plenty more work to be done. This is what I would term a “starter” project where some introductory material is created to help develop the brand, but many more phases would be needed to help expand the branding universe.

Project was to create collateral for an upcoming show. The original pitch was for a gig poster style print, but the need for cross platform branding was recognized by the client. Recommendations included a logotype package as well as illustrated elements to help connect audience members to the show.
